Kia Ora,

It’s hard to believe it has been a year since our AGM but it has rolled around quickly again. I hope everyone has been able to get out and enjoy the spring sunshine and flowers. We sure do live in an amazing place.  Toni Hunt will be running a fun activity as a kickstarter to our AGM so come with fun in your heart and an open mind. We would also love everyone to wear something pink for Breast Cancer Awareness month and we will have a donation pot available for anyone who wishers to contribute to the Breast cancer association. 

We have a number of incumbent committee  members standing again for executive, including myself, Rebecca (secretary), Angelika (treasurer), Toni Hunt (committee member), Kay Legge (committee member) and Desiree Bond (immediate PP) but would encourage anyone interested to please nominate yourself or others (with their consent) for the executive. We want to be the best club we can be for our members so need the ideas and support from you. I know hands down I wouldn’t be able to be President with the amazing support from our executive.

We had some great discussion at our last meeting about resolutions, community support options and fundraisers for our education grant which we will talk more about at the AGM. Also get your thinking caps on for how you would like to celebrate Xmas this year at BPW. On a final note I hope everyone gets a chance to visit the garden festival gardens, especially Tairoa Lodge again this year. I know I’ll be heading for lunch there during the festival so anyone want to join me let me know!
