Spring has come round again and it is hard to believe we are only a month away from our AGM in October. After a fun and fabulous meeting last month I hope you are all looking forward to heading back to the Hawera club for our September dinner.
This month we will have speaker Megan Stewart
speaking about her experience with St Johns (sponsored by Celine Filbee).
The BPW team have also been busy organizing the Meet the Candidates night this Thursday 15th
September from 6pm. If you would like to provide a donation for supper, please see Rebecca’s email or if you are available to help please get in touch ASAP. Thank you to Anita, Desiree and the
organizing committee for this event which is important for us to be involved in and support our
community in making informed decisions about local government.
A reminder that with our AGM next month nominations need to be in for the BPW Hawera executive and also our Women’s Education Scholarship is still open for applications. Also, please keep your eye out for information about our Suffrage celebration high tea event in October.

We all look forward to seeing you this month again at the Hawera Club.
