Marvelous March 2023

Welcome to March everyone! As always the year is already flying by! Hope everyone is excited and booking tickets, and telling friends, colleagues, and family about our High Tea at Tairoa Lodge on 19th March.  RSVPs as soon as possible please! There will be a raffle at the event to raise further funds for our scholarship with some lovely prizes.

The following day we will be having our club dinner and welcoming Fiona Aiken as our speaker, CE for South Taranaki District Council. Please see her bio below for details. Given March is a celebration of international women’s day, we hope you will either dress up for our March dinner in something international or bring something from your international travel to discuss.

I hope you also have all received the membership survey from Rebecca, it will be great to get feedback so that we can continue to improve and make our club and BPW even better for members. We officially welcomed with BPW world badges two members last month Vanessa Sumpter and Anna Dunlop, with Samantha Bills also becoming a member. Unfortunately, we also said goodbye to Julie McLeod, Shelley Green and Amelie Moncel, and we wish them well and hope we see them at some time in the future.

Looking forward to seeing those coming to high tea back at Tairoa or at this month's meeting.
