Welcome everyone to May’s newsletter and what a busy month April was! As you can all see in the photo above our club received many awards at the BPWNZ national conference including the Community Achievement Award which our club has never won before and the new YBPW Sustainability Award which we are the first club to receive. Congratulations to Sheryl Wallis who received the Club President Award. A big thank you to all the executive members who worked hard on our entry submissions. Well done to Te Aroha who completed her KTA and was awarded her gold key.
We are currently running our Sileni Wine fundraiser, can you please all start to send in your orders so far. Remember cut off is at our May dinner on the 20th so please focus on this as the club receives $40.00 for every dozen sold. Our Regional Meeting is on the 29th of June in Gisborne and runs for one day, if you would like to attend then please let me know. This month we are having some of our club members speak about their journeys so far and their goals for the future. We look forward to hearing from Courtney Crowther, Celine Filbee and Jan Dunlop. A big thank you to our twinning sisters BPW Denver who sent us a condolences card due to the Christchurch Terrorist attack. We are going to be holding the BPWNZ national conference in 2021 here in Hawera, we will talk about this at dinner. View full newsletter here......
