Welcome everyone to September 2020. Thank you to everyone who helped and supported our Meet the Candidates event last night. The evening was a great success and the live stream went well, if you weren't able to watch last night it is on our BPW Hawera Facebook page.

Last month was YBPW's month to run our dinner meeting and Jess did a fabulous job. Harete Hipango zoomed in as our guest speaker and we had a group photo all in yellow to celebrate 90 years of BPW International which was shared on the BPW International Facebook page.

Please remember ‘if you would like to promote your business then give Sheryl something from your business to go into the gift packs. A win win! Free Advertising/promoting” Example – key ring, pen, soap, chocolate with your business card attached…..’ So please bring something along to dinner on Monday or you can drop items to Sheryl at Storage and Equipment Hire on South Road.

Pink Ribbon Brunch is on the 4th of October at Tairoa Lodge. 10 am arrival with brunch at 10.30 am. The cost is $35.00 with a glass of bubbles on arrival, we have a mystery guest speaker and all money raised from the pink ribbon raffle will be donated to Pink Ribbon so please come along to this event with a friend or two. The flyer for the Pink Ribbon Brunch will come out this week.  
  
Our Women’s Education Scholarship is now open so please share it with your contacts and encourage them to apply; you can find the link to our website below.
A reminder that our AGM is in October and you will be sent nomination forms this month.
We are having our crop swap again this month so please bring something along, you never know what bargain you will get!
