Fabulous February Newsletter

Welcome everyone to 2020! I hope you are all ready for another fantastic year of BPW.
The BPWNZ National Conference for 2020 is now open for registrations, if you are interested in going then please let us know. The details are the 2nd – 3rd of May 2020 in Auckland at the Jet Park Hotel.

This month is Red Bag Day and if you are not sure what that means, Red Bag Day marks the period of extra days in the current year that women need to work to achieve the same wages that men earned during the previous year. We have Angela McLeod coming to speak to us about the current pay gap. Our theme this month is Red Bag so please bring a red bag with you, hand bag etc if you have one.
We also have Diana Reid who will speak about her research on the cycle way and about a community project we might like to support as a club.

The subcommittee working on our National Conference for 2021 is going well and we have a few things to show you/ share with you at our dinner meeting.
This year is also the BPW International Congress in Orlando, Florida, USA on the 21st to the 25th of August 2020. If you would like to go then please let us know, the link with all the information you need is:
