Tena kotoe Katoa,
Hope that everyone had a lovely Easter filled with family, fun and chocolate. I am away over in Australia visiting our families after 4 years, so our lovely Toni Hunt will be hosting the April meeting. During the meeting, we will be reviewing and voting on the resolutions that will be presented at conference. Please if you can review the resolutions before the meeting and come with questions, changes or ideas on how we can support any that have not been seconded. It is important that we have resolutions voted on so our delegates know how to vote for Hawera and so that these resolutions can be carried through to advocacy with the government. For our conference we have three delegates attending, Toni, Rebecca and Vivian. Rebecca has also put her name forward for VP Membership and I know we will all wish her well in her success for this important BPW NZ position. At our April dinner Helen will also be running through our Keys to Achievement (KTA) programme and how to get involved and signed off. Thank you all who came and supported our High tea. I know we all had a lovely afternoon and we raised $208 for the women’s education scholarship fund. Angelika will be making a beautiful Anzac wreath again and prior to Anzac Day Rebecca will be putting a shout-out via email to those that would like to attend the dawn service and help lay our club wreath. Please let us know if you are keen to represent BPW. Finally just a reminder we still have Kate Sheppard Camelias for sale. Please let us know if you would like any or you can purchase at Landscape. I hope you all have a great April and a great dinner. Marissa Cope BPW Hawera Club President To view the full newsletter click here...
